Lice Info and Pictures
(all pictures taken by me using my magnification tool)

If lice, nymphs, or nits
are there,
I can find them!

#1  A nit and a small louse taped to paper

I took this picture to show how small
lice and nits are compared to my fingers.

You can hardly see the tiny nit.

#2  A nit on a hair

This picture was taken with my camera.
Using my magnification tool
I took the picture from my TV screen.
It is the nit from picture
#1.

#3  The small louse  from picture #1 above

Notice how clearly the ring of blood shows up.  Also, notice the shape of the claws which the louse uses to attach to the scalp and hold on.
No wonder you can't wash them out
with regular shampooing!!

#4  Dead louse after treatment
with Nit Free Lice Treatment Mousse

Notice the size of my finger, the straight pin,
and the louse.

#5

Dead louse from picture #4
(After Treatment with Nit Free)

This picture was taken using my camera
and the lice magnification tool.
Believe it or not, this dead louse
is the magnified picture from above!
IT CAME FROM MY HAIR!

#6

Dead louse after Nit Free Treatment

You can see that the exoskeleton of this louse
has been dissolved by the enzyme treatment.

#7  An egg (nit) combed out after treatment

Combing out eggs is possible
because the enzyme formulation
in Nit Free Lice Treatment Mousse
dissolves the cement-like quality nit glue.

#8  A dissolved louse combed out on Day 7

The actual size of this dead louse is very small.
Due to the microscopic size of  nymphs and nits,
don't be surprised, but EXPECT
to continue combing out
dead lice or eggs for several days.
At this point, I had nit-combed my hair
thousands of different ways.
How could it still be in my hair? But...
HE (OR SHE) WAS NOT ALIVE!!

Even if you can't see anything being
combed out of the hair,
CONTINUE NIT-COMBING DAILY
for 2 weeks.

Always remember:
  • The first day's comb-out is the hardest and will take the longest time, especially for hair that is thick or long and has to be nit-combed in sections.
  • HANG IN THERE!
  • The next few days of quick nit-combing will take much less time - it took me less than 5 minutes, but could take a few minutes longer if the hair is very thick.
  • The daily nit comb-outs and use of the Nit Free Shampoo and Conditioner on days 2 - 14 are simply a way to catch anything that you possibly missed - sort of like your "insurance policy".
  • Follow the written directions of Lice Eliminators, and...

YOU WILL GET RID OF YOUR LICE!
